The Gifted and Talented program consists of students identified in the areas of General Intellect, Specific Academic Ability (Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies), Creativity, Leadership and Visual/Performing Arts (dance, drama, music and visual art).  Students are informally identified for  Primary Talent Pool (PTP) which includes grades Kindergarten to grade 3 and formally identified for grades 4 -12.  Once identified these students participate in a variety of accelerated programs, resource services and/or differentiated study opportunities in order to meet each student's specific academic needs.  To learn more about the Gifted and Talented Program in the Bellevue School District please contact Ms. Camie Hornsby at (859) 261-2980.
