Congressman comes to BHS

Congressman Geoff Davis is the representative of
Kentucky’s Fourth District. He serves on the House Ways
and Means Committee. He also is co- chairman of the
National Security Interagency Reform Working group.
Geoff Davis visited Bellevue High school on
October 12th, 2009. He talked a little about
himself and then opened up the floor for questions.
As Mr. Davis was talking he stated
“Keep reapplying yourself and you can make a difference.
Pursue any dream you want.” Those words touched many
students in different ways.
Mr. Davis was elected in 2004 and has been in
office for five years now.
Throughout his
term in office, he has worked on many policies and laws.
His efforts paid off when he was able to change
the model on how to reach out to the community.
Mr. Davis lives with his wife, Pat, in
Hebron, KY, with his six children.

Congressman Davis for his visit and for giving the students
an opportunity of a life time to meet and
talk with him .
